Prompt 8 - Math

A lot of people say that math is a really important subject when it comes to the real life. I think that that is true but to a certain extent. I think that math is needed for a regular person but I do not believe that trigonometry and calculus is needed for a normal person with a regular job. I think that the basic math is needed because of course you need to know how to manage your money. The only math that I know that you need is the basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. You will probably need to know some fractions and percents for the simple reason that you might go out to eat and you have to give the waiter a tip. I think that is the only math that is needed because those four fundamentals are the roots to all maths. If you want to do any type of math you have to learn addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. When you go to a grocery store, you need to know how much money you have in your pocket and how much money you can spend because groceries is not the only thing that you have to worry about when spending money. You also have to worry about the bills that you have coming from your home. You need math because you do not want to get ripped off when you are trying to buy something off someone and you give them a certain amount of money and they give you the wrong change. You want to be able to maintain your money in a good way without any problems so you need to learn math because it is very important.
