Prompt 6 - Describe the purposes of the Internet.

The internet is used for a lot of different reasons. People use it for the good and some people; well they do not use it for the good. They use it for the exact opposite of good, the bad. When kids use the internet it is most likely because they are researching something to do on their homework. They can be listening to music on the internet. They can play games on the internet. They can use different websites to do a lot of things. When parents get on the internet they might want to buy something so they look for it on the internet because it is way cheaper than when you go to the store and buy it retail price. There is an abundance of resources and websites when you open the portals of the internet. When you start surfing the internet, you can find anything and everything. You can find the latest news on the celebrities that you love the latest news about the things that are going on around the world. You can be in the United States and you can see what is going on the other side of the planet. There are also crazy things on the internet. Of course one of those things is porn. Anybody can see it if they just find it the same way they look for everything else. You can use the internet to your advantage but some people abuse that privilege and try to mess up the minds of little kids by posting hideous things.
