Movies have evolved over the years and now watching a movie and it's effects is very incredible. I love watching movies especially movies that keep me interested with suspense. The effects that a movie has contributes a great deal to the overall production and that is why I love The Gladiator starring Russel Crowe. It is a great movie to watch with all of it's suspense and action.
I have grown up watching The Gladiator. The suspense and results of the movie puts me in tears every time I watch it. Russel Crowe plays a great role in being a gladiator. He knows how to portray the pain that he felt when he lost his son and wife. Losing all he loved was hard because the people he fought for are the people that killed them.
The fighting scenes are insanely great in this movie. The movie is not grusome bu then again it has enough blood and action to keel you glued to the seat. Throughout the whole movie Russel Crowe is trying to prove that he deserves freedom from being a gladiator. Through all the obstacles in surviving he makes it through.
Being that he won his freedom, the emperor doesn't want it to be so, therefore he tries to kill him himself. The final battle between the emperor an Russell Crow is the most emotional and intense battle in the movie. It is the battle you look forward to when you start watching the movie.
When you want chills going through your body, this is the movie to watch. The Gladiator will give you an emotional rollercoaster because it touches your heart. I love this movie and it should be a movie that everybody watches. The DVD should be in everybodys movie cases.
